Join DHHARC Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the South Valleys Library for a workshop for parents of deaf and hard of hearing children. Topics that will be discussed: Parents' rights for their deaf/HH children Students' rights Effective ways to help meet the child’s needs Know what technology devices are available to the deaf/HH students, family, and community members There will be device demonstrations and hands-on experiences There will be a panel of experienced people to answer questions. We will meet in the conference room from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Interpreters will be provided. We will be having a meeting on Wednesday, May 24th at 5:00 at Starbucks on the corner of College Parkway and Carson St. Anyone who wants to come is welcome and you are welcome to bring your kids, spouse, friends, whatever. Wednesday, May 17th from 2-4 pm.Location: 1100 E. William Street, Carson City. Check in downstairs at reception, and just tell them you are attending the Medicaid 101 presentation in the upstairs conference room.
