There is a great need for quality education for our hearing impaired children. Lake Mead Christian Academy is addressing the need by starting a Deaf Christian Education Program for 2nd thru 4th grades. (1st and 5th will be considered if space is available) Subjects will be taught in English and Sign to have a better comprehension of subject matter. Due to the commitment of a small class size, space is extremely limited. The program will be designed as a multi-ability classroom giving all students the opportunity to excel and learn. The students will enjoy a smaller class size for a more focused learning experience. This program will start with the new academic year of 2007/2008.
