Gina Cinque, Senior Safety Consultant and Jason Nichols, Case Management Specialist

Emergencies happen when we least expect it. That is why it is so important for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to know how to contact 911 using the technology available today.

*Please Join Us For This Very Informative Workshop*

The first part of the workshop will be presented by Gina Cinque from Alert 911 Now. She will discuss emergency response systems for the elderly and disabled.
The second part of our workshop will be presented by Jason Nichols who will discuss equipment such as TTY’s, Videophones, and cell phones and how to use them to call 911 in an emergency.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocacy Resource Center invites you to take a closer look at your rights.

This workshop will be held in American Sign Language.

Dennis Matthews will share laws concerning deaf and hard of hearing individuals and how to exercise your rights. This will include American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA), 508, 504, Nevada Revised Statutes, how to use/request Interpreters and CART (Captions at Real Time).
